National Research & Chemical Company (DBA: NACCO)

National Research & Chemical Company (DBA: NACCO) was established in 1918 by William H. Atwill, to serve then the budding movie industry with chemical specialties and various chemical supplies. The young Hollywood company grew in the 1920’s and 1930’s by keeping up with the changing technology and demands of the movie, photo, and aircraft industries. NACCO has kept the founding traditions through generations and has continued to stay a family owned California based company.

Over the last seven decades, NACCO has evolved to its present status as a sophisticated manufacturer of black & white photo and graphic arts chemistry, cleaning solutions, private labeling needs, and contract packaging. NACCO’s commitment to quality and excellence has added on research & development assistance for creating custom formulations for all types of liquid and powder blends.
